Teeth Whitening Options For You
Teeth whitening treatments have become increasingly popular during the last years. Try as we might, our teeth can never stay the pearly white they were when we were children. The years take away the color, as well as lifestyle habits such as drinking wine and smoking.
This guide will help you understand the benefits of the teeth cleaning treatments we offer and what to expect when having them performed by our dentist.

The Dash whitening system uses a unique 30% hydrogen peroxide formula and does not require mixing, refrigeration or an activating light. Laser teeth whitening is administered in a dental office exclusively, and is the most expensive method for whitening. All forms of teeth whitening work by releasing oxygen ions from a tooth whitening gel, which gently lift stains from the teeth. The laser simply lifts the stains faster. Another advantage of the laser is that (depending on the type of laser used) it can more easily be used to bleach one tooth at a time. This is helpful when one tooth is more discolored than the surrounding teeth.Read more about Laser

This in-office procedure utilizes a special laser to activate the whitening gel for dramatic, long-lasting results.Read more about LaserSmile® (Laser)

This treatment is great for people who suffer from teeth sensitivity.
Take Home Trays
Take-home whitening trays are a type of teeth whitening procedure that you can perform at the comfort of your home. This is an easy and cost-effective teeth whitening treatment that can be easily obtained. You must follow the instructions given by our dentist to see the results at home. Although they can be a convenient option, obtaining great results can take longer than other treatments and they don’t always work well for deep stains. These trays are custom made to go over your teeth, and whiten your teeth through a special gel that is found on the inside of the trays.
Theses trays, once made for you, can then be taken home as a teeth whitening kit, along with the guidelines given by our dentist. The time that they must remain on your teeth can vary according to your teeth whitening needs.
How Take-home Whitening Trays Work
Custom whitening trays are trays that are clear and are usually made of a clear plastic that comfortably adjust when inserted. A small dollop of gel is inserted in each tray, giving them their whitening properties. The gel consists of a hydrogen peroxide solution that actively whitens the enamel of the teeth.
After they have been used and are taken off, they need to be cleaned with a Q-tip or a cloth and rinsed. This makes them ready to be used again. It is not suggested to use them for at least another day, after each application.
These whitening trays can be used several times to obtain the desired results. Our dentist can further advice on how many times they should be used in your case. Also, you can have them customize to you needs.
Venus White® is a take-home whitening kit for custom trays your dentist at Family Dental Care of Rogers creates for you. The trays contain a special whitening gel, which is available in a range of concentrations so that your dentist can devise an effective, customized treatment plan that eliminates stains and brightens your smile while protecting your teeth from uncomfortable sensitivity.Read more about Venus White®
